Sundays at 10:00am
Worship is our glad response to the love and grace that God offers to us. All of life is worship when we live in gratitude and reverence, with our minds set on God. In worship, we gather as the people of God and declare that God is worthy of our attention and praise. We join in corporate prayer and singing. We listen to God's word read and proclaimed. We celebrate the sacraments (Baptism and the Lord's Supper). We respond to God's love and grace with prayer and praise and by offering all that we are and all that we have to God in service. Finally, we are sent into the world in God's name to be a blessing to others.
Children and Nursery
At Steel Lake Presbyterian Church we have many options for parents of young children in worship. Children are always welcome to remain with their parents in the sanctuary. There is also a "Family Room" available at the rear of the sanctuary separated by glass for those families who prefer a less distracting place to worship. A fully-staffed nursery is available just down the hall next to the "Family Room" where little ones will be entertained and cared for. And children (age four through fifth grade) are invited to attend Children's Lesson in the church Library following the children's sermon.
