Branden Hendrix - Director of Children and Youth Ministries For the past three years Branden has been serving as our director of children and youth ministries. Prior to joining the staff of SLPC, Branden served as a missionary in India for six years. During that time he helped start up a nonprofit restaurant that generates a quarter of a million dollars a year for charity. Branden brings an incredible work ethic, energy, and faith to our staff and youth. branden@steellake.com Ext. 24 Karen Dick - Preschool Director This is Karen Dick’s tenth year directing Steel Lake Christian Preschool. She began her job with the very first class of seven in 1996. Since that year, the preschool has grown from one small class to six classes with a staff of eight women. Karen enjoys seeing the preschool grow and getting to know the many students and their families who have attended over the years. The very best part of this ministry for Karen is Chapel Time. Teaching the young children the Bible stories and the love of Jesus is by far the most rewarding time of the week for her. Karen has been married for 26 years and has two children who are both presently attending Christian colleges in the Northwest. Karen is originally from Tacoma and has a BA from Washington State University. karendick@comcast.net Ext. 36 Barbara Anderson - Office Administrator Barbara serves Steel Lake as the Office Administrator where she focuses on coordinating the use of the building by five church congregations and various community organizations, producing the monthly newsletter and weekly bulletin, and other ministries of the church office. Her education includes a B.A. in Clothing and Textiles from Seattle Pacific University. officeadmin@steellake.com Ext. 22 Peggy Jeffcoat - Organist Peggy has been a part of the staff for the past two years. She is a talented musician who specializes in Piano and Organ.
